The New Business Sales Executive is responsible for driving business development and sales in their assigned territory, to achieve the necessary sales growth and related business targets. This is a field base role using strong lead generation, opportunity qualification and deal closing skills to impact our new business growth. This person needs to set pace each day with outbound activity to drive meetings and demos to showcase our solutions as a market leading software vender. The New Business Sales Executive must be comfortable asking questions to challenge and understand a customer’s needs to establish a value message for our solutions to best resolve their issues and drive their business forward.
About the role:
- Engage, Nurture, Develop and Grow business in the AECO space.
- Identify and target prospect accounts with pro-active outbound lead generation including (but not limited to) cold calling, social media, events and outbound sales campaigns.
- Qualifying inbound and outbound leads through discovery and needs analysis
- Responsible for the entire sales cycle from MQL to close
- Retain responsibility for any closed-won customer for their first 12 months, ensuring a smooth transition, successful onboarding, ongoing satisfaction, and opportunities for early expansion.
- Collaborate with relevant internal departments to demonstrate the value of solutions aligned to customers’ needs.
- Create and maintain a pipeline of live opportunities to deliver against assigned revenue goals.
- Maintain up to date CRM records with accurate pipeline (leads and opportunities), including sales stages and forecasts for business.
- Develop and nurture the Education program for the UK.
- Maintain knowledge of AECO industry news, trends and challenges
- Represent the Graphisoft brand externally with professionalism and credibility
- Remote based UK role
About you:
- Proven experience selling subscription-based software in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction market (AEC)
- Demonstratable sales skills to include prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, managing objections and closing of new business in a software environment.
- Ability to create and use data to identify market opportunities and report accurately on sales activity
- Data driven pipeline management - Salesforce hygiene, forecasting accuracy, self-directed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
- Ability to work collaboratively and be supportive of the team environment.
- Motivated, self-directed and results oriented approach.
- UK Right to work, Valid UK license and ability to travel within UK/I
- Architect background or a S.T.E.M. based degree is a plus
