We are seeking a motivated and experienced Partner Sales Manager (m/w/d) who can support our partners, develop effective sales strategies, and build strong relationships in the DACH region. This position will be Germany-based; in a hybrid work model – home office as well as office – that requires the candidate to have a reliable internet connection and access to a conducive and quiet workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with partners and generate targeted revenues from their efforts.
  • Identify, recruit and on-board new channel partners within the assigned territories.
  • Develops the business-to-business go-to-market strategy by acquiring new partners and guiding, coaching and mentoring the current partners. 
  • Creates sales methodology and demand generation strategies to help the partners succeed.
  • Assist the partners to meet or exceed assigned targets and strategic objectives.
  • Develops and maintains knowledge of local industry systems, standards, practices and trends and competitor activities. Utilize Salesforce to accurately report customer trends and expected sales.
  • Work cross functionally with internal teams, e.g. customer success, marketing and technical support to ensure that partner and customer expectations are met or exceeded to maximize brand awareness and sales pipelines.
  • Represent the voice of channel partners with leadership teams by engaging in product discussions, translating customer usage and feedback into actionable insights.
  • Travel to channel partners and customer locations, as required, to foster strong, lasting and collaborative relationships built on trust.
  • Manage complex problems between multiple parties that includes channel conflict resolution and contract negotiations.
  • Report to the Line Manager and/or the Mission-in-charge on various sales metrics regularly and alert on deviations immediately, if any.

Requirements

  • Higher education in business, architecture or engineering degree preferred.
  • Possesses 3 to 5 years of relevant channel partner/territory sales/business development experience at a high level of achievement.
  • Candidates with relevant experience in the computer-aided design (CAD)/BIM software industry will be highly considered.
  • Proven track record in developing and coaching successful sales teams.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced environment independently.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and commercial awareness.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • High command of English language.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, training and management skills.
  • Ready and able to travel.
