About the position: 

As a People Services Senior Expert, you will play a strategic role in shaping and executing HR service delivery across the Nordics and UK. This position is responsible for ensuring operational excellence and compliance with regional labor laws. As a senior-level expert, you will drive process improvements and enhance the efficiency of people services across multiple brands.

 

Requirements: 

Strategic & Operational Excellence: 

  • Lead and optimize HR operations, including contracts, onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle administration 

  • Ensure seamless payroll execution in collaboration with local payroll teams, driving accuracy and compliance 

  • Oversee benefits programs, pension schemes, and time/absence management to enhance employee satisfaction 

  • Drive HR digital transformation by optimizing SuccessFactors and other HR technology solutions 

Compliance, Governance & Risk Management: 

  • Basic knowledge of respective regulations on employment law in the related locations, ensuring full compliance with Nordics and UK labor regulations as an overseer (e.g. minimum levels of pension schemes, labor law requirements, sick leave admin, statutory requirements) 

  • Supervise internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to CSRD, payroll, and HR governance requirements 

  • Balance global HR policies with local adaptation, ensuring consistency across brands while addressing regional nuances 

Process Improvement & Technology Enablement: 

  • Drive continuous improvement projects, streamlining HR processes for efficiency and scalability 

  • Leverage data analytics to enhance HR decision-making, improving service levels and operational KPIs 

  • Support the adoption and enhancement of HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday) across the region 

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 

  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years of HR operations or people services experience, with some expertise in Nordics and UK employment laws 

  • Technical Skills: Experience with HRIS platforms (SAP SuccessFactors, Workday) and payroll systems 

  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional HR initiatives and collaborate with senior stakeholders 

  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong data-driven decision-making capabilities and process optimization experience 

  • Language requirements: strong Business English, additional proficiency in a Scandinavian language is preferred 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): 

  • Accuracy & timeliness of payroll and HR administration processes 

  • Compliance adherence across all employment-related regulations 

  • Stakeholder satisfaction (measured through HR service feedback and SLAs) 

  • Operational efficiencies, including cost optimization and digital transformation success
