Seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Instructional Designer with strong facilitation capabilities to join the team and lead the development of impactful learning experiences. Responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering multi-modal learning solutions that align with organizational goals and enhance employee performance. Ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of adult learning principles, strong project management skills, practical experience in facilitating workshops and webinars across diverse audiences, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify skills gaps and training requirements.
- Design and develop innovative, multi-modal learning solutions, including e-learning, microlearning, workshops, webinars, simulations, and gamified approaches.
- Facilitate engaging learning sessions through live delivery formats (virtual and in-person) and support learning culture by coaching internal trainers and peer facilitators.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet business needs and drive continuous improvement in learning initiatives.
- Develop and implement comprehensive programs, curricula, and immersive learning experiences for employees at all levels.
- Measure the effectiveness of learning experiences using feedback, performance metrics, and data analytics to ensure continuous improvement.
- Consult with business groups to translate organizational objectives into tailored learning solutions.
- Use instructional design tools to create engaging content and learner interfaces that are simple, intuitive, and impactful.
- Stay current on emerging learning technologies, approaches, and tools to ensure innovative solutions.
- Lead cross-functional, enterprise-wide learning programs that align with adult learning principles and organizational goals.
- Oversee multiple large-scale projects while anticipating risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Partner with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to conduct detailed training needs assessments.
- Drive adoption of the organization’s learning management system and Learning Experience Platform, including measuring usage and communicating areas for improvement to leaders.
- Facilitate learning experiences as needed and develop a scale facilitation through internal subject matter experts and peer networks.
- Adapt delivery styles and instructional strategies to suit global, multicultural audiences and varying learning contexts.
- Support other talent management and development projects as needed, within the global COE.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and talent development strategies.
- Demonstrated experience delivering live learning sessions (e.g., workshops, webinars) with strong facilitation and engagement skills.
- Proficiency in instructional design software (e.g., Easy Generator, Articulate 360, Camtasia) and familiarity with eLearning authoring tools.
- Proven experience developing scalable learning programs in a global, SaaS environment.
- Experience working with LMS and LXP systems, including user management, learning path creation, and reporting.
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Excellent project management skills with high level of attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, including stakeholder management, change management, and communication plans.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating learning outcomes and making data-driven decisions.
- Ability to build positive relationships with peers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum or Kanban) and design-thinking practices.
- Ability to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced environment while navigating ambiguity effectively.
- Proficiency in English.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Science, Educational Psychology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience designing innovative learning solutions for adult learners in a corporate setting.
- Experience managing projects and programs, full-life cycle (design through implementation/measurement).
- Proven facilitation skills.
- Preferred:
- Experience using quantitative or qualitative research methods to evaluate learning programs.
- Working with LinkedIn Learning Platform.
- Experience incorporating AI, adaptive learning, and gamification into training programs.
