As an IT Security Operations Engineer at Graphisoft, you will play a pivotal role in fortifying our digital infrastructure against cyber threats. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures that protect our systems, data, and operations. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive security initiatives, and stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies to help support our Hungarian and Global business operations.
As an IT Security Operations Engineer, you will:
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data,
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting thorough analysis to identify and mitigate risks promptly,
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust security solutions,
- Conduct regular security assessments,
- Provide training and guidance to staff on security best practices,
- Manage the daily operation of the IT Security systems,
- Provide system administration functions on Microsoft products on-premises and in the cloud (Microsoft 365 Defender, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, Fortinet firewalls, etc.),
- Stay ahead of emerging threats and technologies to enhance our security posture proactively.
Required knowledge and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience,
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in IT security operations and incident response or in a similar role,
- Professional certifications such as CISSP are a great plus,
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment,
- Good command of English language
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Essential to have some level of knowledge of the following:
- Cloud security, preferably multi-cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS mainly)
- Administering and hardening Microsoft 365,
- network protocols and intrusion detection systems,
- Microsoft 365 Defender, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud,
- security frameworks, protocols, and industry best practices, such as ISO 27001, 27002, etc.,
- Server Maintenance and Updates, service lifecycle management
- Microsoft Windows, Server, Exchange, SQL
- Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, DNS, Printserver, GPO, etc.
Preferable, but not essential knowledge:
- Linux distributions (basics, Ubuntu)
- Veeam Backup & Recovery,
- Project management,
- VMware Services
- WLAN, VLAN, WAN, Firewall
- Checkpoint
