We are seeking an experienced corporate communications professional.
As a Corporate Communications Director, you play a pivotal role in guiding the Nemetschek Group's internal communication and employee relations activities, while serving as a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team and People Function’s leadership team, offering strategic counsel on communication-related matters.
You leverage your deep understanding of the organization's goals and values to help build buy-in from key internal stakeholders and develop compelling storylines that resonate with employees.
You have the expertise to be an active contributor (or driver when/where relevant) in business transformations, change management projects, and crisis and M&A communications as part of the Nemetschek Group’s People Function team. You support the changes by mapping stakeholders, creating effective communications plans, and crafting clear and transparent messages to navigate through complex transitions.
You are responsible for the management and development of internal communication channels and tools, connecting Nemetschek Group’s global internal audience across several continents and time zones, representing a diverse cultural background.
As the CSR representative, you also manage a few chosen Group initiatives and work with the local CR team on ESG/sustainability reporting.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Communication & Media, International Relation, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in corporate communication.
- The ability to develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies aligned with organizational goals, while also providing strategic counsel to the executive team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for crafting clear, compelling messages and developing engaging content for various audiences and platforms.
- Experience in change management communication is crucial for navigating organizational changes, including mergers, acquisitions, and business transformations, while ensuring transparency and alignment with strategic objectives.
- The skill to identify and engage key stakeholders, including employees, leaders, and external partners, is necessary for building relationships and driving collaboration across departments.
- The ability to support the execution of communication plans through hands-on work, including content creation, event planning, and stakeholder engagement, is vital for ensuring the successful implementation of communication strategies.
Key tasks, duties, and responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an internal employee communications strategy aligned with the company's objectives and values.
- Craft clear, consistent, and engaging messages to communicate company news, updates, and initiatives to employees.
- Manage internal communication channels such as intranet, email newsletters, employee forums, and digital signage to ensure effective distribution of information. Produce various forms of content including newsletters, emails, videos, and presentations to convey information effectively to employees.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute on internal events such as employee town halls, recognition ceremonies, or social/team-building events.
- Develop change management strategies to effectively communicate organizational changes, including mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, and process improvements in cooperation with the Executive Leadership Team and the Nemetschek Group’s People Function team. Support change management initiatives by developing communication plans that address employee concerns and facilitate smooth transitions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on communication-related matters, providing strategic counsel and guidance on business topics, crisis situations, and reputation management. Provide support to senior executives in crafting and delivering key messages, maintaining consistency and alignment with corporate messaging.
- Manage and develop future CSR activities, as well as, central reporting as required by Nemetschek Group and/or the local legal regulations.
