About the position:

As an Accounting Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting and financial management. The successful candidate will be a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and a commitment to accuracy. Strong German language skills are essential for this role, as you will be working with German-speaking clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately record financial transactions and maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Assist in processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Collaborate with vendors and clients, resolving any billing or payment discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Generate routine financial reports for management review.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Work with auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with German-speaking clients and colleagues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for financial reporting.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance accounting knowledge and skills.
• Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
• Support the Finance Manager in Germany.

Requirements:

• Ongoing studies in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in German (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Intermediate English language skills (written and spoken).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
