About the job:

The Account Executive responsible for managing the sales process from prospecting to closing, with a focus on mid-sized and select enterprise clients. This role supports revenue growth by identifying opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to account expansion efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Support all New Acquisition enquiries for assigned territory.
  • Strategic focus on 5+ License Opportunities.
  • Pre-Alignment with Global Up Market vision - focus in qualifying larger deals (20+).
  •  Following Acquisition, focus on Key Account Management of medium and large clients, execute Key Account Development Plans for Strategic Accounts. Handover small accounts to Inside Sales.
  • Own sales process from pre through post sales.
  • Documentation through the Sales Process.
  • Pipeline Management/Accuracy.
  • Generating leads through various methods, such as cold calling, networking,referrals, and inbound enquiries.
  • Forecasting future sales trends and revenues based on current and historical data.
  • Registering sales data in pipeline and CRM.
  • Create regular meeting minutes to ensure market information is captured.
  • Participate and help organize customer events.
  • Support Sales Director in business relevant tasks.
  • Developing strategic account plans for key clients to maximise revenue and customer retention.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience.
  • Sales skills to include prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, handling objections.
  • Experience in forecasting future sales by organising and maintaining pipeline.
  • The ability to make informed decisions based on data and metrics related to sales activities and performance.
  • Experience with subscription sales for a software vendor is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
